"I was determined to do a 'real' dance at my wedding.
My husband was not so sure if he was going to be able to learn
to dance. I have been a dancer my whole life, and he is the
kind of guy that sits on the side and watches everyone else
dance. Sandra made the dancing fun for both of us. We all
laughed a lot! We looked forward to our lessons every week,
and I even convinced my parents to join us for a few lessons!
It was fun having my husband twirl me on the dance floor,
especially in my dress! Sandra's smile and her patience for
our lack of practice was exactly what we needed. I will always

| Sondra is a wonderful dance teacher! She helped us choreograph
our beautiful wedding dance. She put together the steps and
moves tailored to our abilities and our chosen wedding song.
Our wedding guests were very impressed with our first dance.
It was very memorable night for us. Our best friends also
used Sondra for their wedding based on our recommendation.
Sondra taught not only the bride and groom but also the bride
and her father!! The first dance and the father-daughter dance
were magnificent.

Hi Sondra,
...I wanted to thank you for the dance lessons; I feel that
Dan and I would have been lost without them. It was really
great to be confident getting out on the dance floor and know
that we weren't going to look silly.
Although we didn't do the entire routine, as my dress was
longer then I thought, and I was afraid I was going to step
on it, because of your lessons we were able to improvise and
nobody watching knew.
I was given your name by my sister who used you two years
earlier at her wedding and she had gotten your name from a
friend of hers, I was at both weddings and their first dances
were spectacular, I will never forget watching my sister and
her husband move around the floor, it was really moving.
And don't forget working with my Dad! He worked with you for
and hour or two before both of his daughters weddings and
he moved us around the dance floor with ease, I know he really
enjoyed it.

| Sondra Chan has been one of our dance instructors at Northwest
Health Clubs. She knows her patterns thoroughly, has excellent
technique, and takes her teaching very seriously. This would
be enough to make her an excellent teacher, which she is. The
bonus is that she has an infectious personality, great sense
of humor and a very positive teaching style. We’ve never
seen anyone come away from her classes discouraged or cranky.
Her students love her and she genuinely cares about her students.
She’s a tireless worker to make her program succeed, even
investing some of her own resources to get the word out. We
recommended her as a group instructor for a fundraising event,
as well, and were impressed with her ability to work with
a large group. Most of the people there had had little or
no dance instruction. Some were visibly hesitant to join in.
Those who did, however, had a great time and came away knowing
enough about dancing the foxtrot and the rumba to dance socially
without feeling inept. She was very clear in her instruction.
It was a bit of genius on her part to have taught two dances,
which would seem to be totally different, by finding the common
ground. Many commented on how accessible she made the lesson.

Dear Sondra,
People are still telling me what fun they had at our wedding
reception learning how to dance. Your waltz and swing lessons
really made our reception memorable and unique. It was great
to see friends and family, who would normally just sit at
a table all night, get up on the dance floor and learn to
dance with everyone else.
You worked so well with our guests. Your warm, encouraging
personality really put people at ease, and your energy and
clear love of ballroom dancing made it fun for everyone. One
of our guests told us that he had such a great time learning
how to dance from you at our reception that he later took
your group classes.
You also worked really well with the other staff at our reception.
Our DJ and videographer commented that they really enjoyed
the way you handled the lessons. And our wedding coordinator
was so impressed that she gathered the whole wait and bar
staff together to watch the dancing.
